I started out in photography in 1974 as a photographer for my high school. Then, in 1975, I became a darkroom technician for the local newspaper. In 1976 I enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a Photographer's Mate, and in 1978 I earned my wings as an Aerial Photographer (stationed in Hawaii). In 1982 I was Honorably Discharged from the Navy, and I have been doing freelance photography as a hobby, exclusively, ever since.
